Kevin Black is the Co-Founder and CEO of Creedence Energy Services, a technology company serving the oil and gas industry. Since co-founding the business in 2014, Kevin has guided the company’s growth across the country’s largest shale plays, elevating Creedence to one of the nation’s largest independent production chemical providers. He has served his industry on the Board of Directors for the ND Petroleum Council since 2018. Kevin is active in various community and state roles. In 2023, he served as chair of the Minot Area Chamber EDC board of directors. In 2022. Governor Doug Burgum appointed Kevin to the State Board of Higher Education, the governing body for all 11 of ND’s public institutions of higher education, where he serves as Chairperson. Kevin was born and raised in North Dakota and has resided with his wife, Kalli, in Minot since 2012.
