Danny Brown serves as President, CEO, and Board Member at Chord Energy. Mr. Brown has over 26 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, and previously served as EVP of International and Deepwater, and EVP of U.S. Onshore, at Anadarko Petroleum. Mr. Brown was named CEO of Oasis Petroleum in April of 2021, as well as Board Chair of Oasis Midstream Partners. In July of 2022, Oasis Petroleum merged with Whiting Petroleum to form Chord Energy. Mr. Brown is a professional engineer and holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Texas A&M and an MBA from Rice University.
